Based in Amsterdam, Maurice has been active as a producer and director for two decades in television. Eventually, his lifelong passion for film finally got the better of him. The festival favorite short THE INVISIBLE MAN followed soon after and set the pace for things to come. Maurice recently completed his first feature film (THE OCCUPANT - 2025) as producer and is currently working on his directorial feature debut HANNAH, a space suspense film.

Fun fact: Maurice is (jokingly) known for demanding budget for a helicopter because, to quote him: "helicopters make everything better".

Sometimes gets his wish.

To realize this I opened a dedicated (motion-capture) studio space in Amsterdam North where other filmmakers and interested individuals can get hands-on impressions of everything virtual production.
